The White Coat Investor Scholarship
Website Description:
The scholarship awards upwards of $70,000, split equally among ten students. All winners also receive a White Coat Investor online course. Students cannot come from an online school background and must be enrolled full-time in a medical school or other professional program (law, dentistry, pharmacy, and others). The Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans
Website Description:
Students must be under 31 years old and be the child of parents born outside of the U.S as non-U.S. citizens.Once we receive and review the applications, the top 77 applicants will be designated “finalists” and will be asked to appear for virtual interviews in late January and early February of 2025. 30 of the the 77 finalists will be selected as Fellows and will be notified in March of 2025. The 2025 Fellows will be announced publicly in April of 2025 and they will begin to receive stipend and tuition support from the program in the fall of 2025, and they will also attend the Fellowship’s Fall Conference, all expenses paid, that October. (Up to $90,000)

Kaleem-Hundal Family Scholarship
Overview:
This donor dedicated scholarship will be awarded annually, in July, to one medical or optometry student (applications are due in March preceding the award). This one year scholarship is intended to cover tuition and ‘qualified educational expenses’ (as defined by the Internal Revenue Service) at the recipient’s chosen collegiate institution ($3000). ‘Educational expenses’ vary amongst higher institutions, but the scholarship is intended to cover tuition, fees, course-related costs, books, supplies, and equipment.
This IMANA Scholarship is open to all applicants who meet the requirements, regardless of race, socioeconomic status, religion, or any other background factors.
We are looking for passionate young leaders with a demonstrated commitment to any variety of causes serving humanity.
Qualifications
Applicants must meet all of the qualifications in at least one of the following groups
Applicant must be pursuing an Optometry degree (OD).
Applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or greater.
Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident or Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA).
Applicant must be attending a US accredited institution.
OR
Applicant must be pursuing a Medical degree (MD/DO).
Applicant intends to pursue the Ophthalmology specialty post-graduation.
Applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or greater.
Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident or Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA).
Applicant must be attending a US accredited institution.
